Tottenham Hotspur are interested in former Manchester United central defender Chris Smalling in the summer of 2023, according to CMW.. Smalling is out of contract at AS Roma at the end of the season, and Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte reportedly wants to bring the English defender to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on a free transfer.
However, Premier League outfit Tottenham are not the only club who are interested in signing Smalling next summer. Former Italian champions Inter Milan and Juventus are also claimed to be keen on securing the services of the defender who has done extremely well for AS Roma since joining from Manchester United, first on loan and then on a permanent basis.
Tottenham are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season and are also playing in the UEFA Champions League.
