Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Nathan Wood from Swansea City in the summer transfer window, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano on Twitter. The Italian reporter has claimed that Tottenham are monitoring the performances of the 20-year-old England Under-21 international central defender.
Wood has been on the books of Swansea since the summer of 2022 when he joined from Middlesbrough. The youngster has made 36 appearances in the Championship for the Swans so far this season, providing one assist in the process. Wood has also made one substitute appearance in the Carabao Cup and has played twice in the FA Cup for the Welsh club so far this campaign.

Tottenham are fifth in the Premier League table at the moment with 53 points from 31 matches, three points behind fourth-placed Newcastle United, who have played 30 games. Meanwhile, Swansea currently find themselves 13th in the Championship standings with 56 points from 42 games.
