Tottenham Hotspur want to sign Nicolo Zaniolo from AS Roma

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Nicolo Zaniolo from AS Roma, according to Calciomercato. It has been reported by the Italian news outlet that Spurs have expressed an interested in the 22-year-old attacker again after trying to sign him in the summer transfer window.

Roma want Zaniolo, who can play as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, to sign a new contract and are working hard on convincing him to stay beyond 2024. The youngster himself wants to stay, but he wants an increase in his current salary.

Zaniolo has made three appearances in Serie A for Roma so far this season. The Roma no.22 made 16 starts and 10 substitute appearances in the league last season, scoring six goals and providing two assists in the process. The Italy international also scored two goals and gave two assists in seven Europa League matches last season well.
