Tottenham in talks over Ceballos

According to a recent report from Sky Sports sources, Tottenham Hotspur are in talks with Real Madrid over the possibility of bringing Dani Ceballos to the club. Dani is reportedly more interested in a loan deal more so than anything else, mainly because he wants to keep himself in the mix at Real Madrid. A permanent deal is therefore ging to be pretty complicated, especially seeing as there are still four years remaining on his current deal.

Spurs have made no secret of the fact that they are going to be ruthless in how they operate within the current summer transfer window, mainly because they need to be. While they may be coming off the back of a Champions League final appearance, the expectation is that they’re going to lose a few key stars at some point over the next few weeks – and they need to ensure that they’ve got enough strength in depth to compete at the top.
