(GSM) – Tottenham Hotspur are in talks to sign Dutch striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar from Milan, according to the Mail.
Spurs’ chairman Daniel Levy is in talks with Milan officials over the former Real Madrid and Ajax star with a £12 million bid set to be tabled.
With Barcelona’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic tipped to the Rossoneri, the seven-time European champions are thought to be keen to offload Huntelaar.
Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp is known to be an admirer of Huntelaar’s talents and Champions League progression certainly puts Spurs in a better position to sign the Dutch forward.
Meanwhile Huntelaar’s arrival will almost certainly mean that either Robbie Keane or Roman Pavlyuchenko will be sold this summer.
