Tottenham Hotspur are said to have stepped up the chase to sign AS Roma hotshot Cengiz Under.
The Turkish international has enjoyed a rich vein of form with Giallorossi this season and the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal have already been linked with a move for the 21-year-old.
Corriere dello Sport reports, however, that Tottenham Hotspur have joined the chase determined to beat their London rivals for the signature of the highly rated forward.
Spurs are understood to have already been denied a €35 million approach for Under but the latest reports have it that Tottenham have now increased their offer to €52 million which they hope would be enough to turn AS Roma’s head.
The Giallorossi would be reluctant to see their prized asset leave so soon but would not pass on an opportunity to pocket a significant amount of money.
Bayern Munich are also said to be monitoring the Turkish sensation who’s been touted to replace Arjen Robben at the Allianz Arena.
