The Sun understands that Tottenham are keen on Borussia Moenchengladbach winger Patrick Hermann.
Spurs aim to further reinforce the squad in January and have set their sights on the Germany Under-21 international.
Patrick Hermann shone in Borussia’s breakthrough season that saw die Fohlen achieve Champions League qualification, attracting attention of top European clubs in the process.
The 21-year-old began his professional career at Borussia Park after arriving to the club from Saarbrucken and has already amassed 70 Bundesliga appearances for the German giants.
Hermann scored 6 goals in 27 league games last season, but has netted just once in six appearances this term.
The Sun claims Borussia value the player at £7.5 million, which is well within Tottenham’s price range.
The only problem is that Inter Milan are also closely following the highly rated forward, who has yet to be handed a full Germany debut despite playing for various youth sides.
