Spanish daily newspaper Marca has suggested that Tottenham Hotspur have notified Malaga of their interest in midfielder Ignacio Camacho.
The Vicente Calderon graduate has become club’s most sought-after footballer with former club Atletico Madrid, Napoli and Inter Milan all believed to be keen on his services.
And Marca is now reporting that Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur have joined the race as well.
Having been impressed with the 24-year-old footballer, Spurs have asked Malaga to notify them if Camacho becomes available for sale, although they will face stiff competition from aforementioned sides.
The highly rated midfielder has come a long way since leaving Atletico Madrid for los Boquerones some four years back, making a total of 114 La Liga outings for the La Rosaleda outfit.
And while Malaga already rejected a €12 million proposal for his services from Napoli, they clearly face a tough task in an attempt to keep hold of their prized possession.
