Premier League runners-up Tottenham Hotspur are ready to invest significant amount of money to boost their squad and make an additional push towards the league title next year.
The Spurs want to announce themselves as a European presence as well and will need to bolster their ranks in order to have enough firepower to fight on multiple fronts.
According to the reports coming from the Spanish media outlet AS, the English side is keen to land Kevin Gameiro.
Spurs have reportedly identified the French striker as the ideal partner for first-choice frontman Harry Kane and are prepared to splash up to €30 million for his services.
Atletico Madrid are believed to be ready to let Gameiro leave should they manage to win their transfer ban appeal as Rojiblancos have already lined up Alexandre Lacazette and Diego Costa as the two strikers Diego Simeone has requested for next season.
Gameiro has scored 12 goals in 31 La Liga outings last season, adding 2 more in Copa del Rey and additional two in the Champions League.
