Premier Legue giants Tottenham have hit somewhat of a rough patch when it comes to their domestic form, and have consequently slipped down to sixth place in the table. Manager Mauricio Pochettino believes that a new midfielder might be the answer to the North London club’s woes, and has thus turned his attention to Geoffrey Kondogbia, according to the Guardian.
The French midfielder is currently on loan at Valencia from Italian club Inter Milan, and has been hugely impressive so far this season. Los Che have been in stunning form, and currently sit second in La Liga table, five points behind leaders Barcelona. Even more impressively they find themselves three points ahead of the mighty Real Madrid.
The Spanish side reportedly have first refusal on their talented Frenchman should Inter consider him leave permanently, which means that Spurs will have to wait until the end of the season to find out if they will be able to acquire Kondogbia.
