Premier League high-flyers Tottenham Hotspur have set their sights on the talented Venezuela youngster Yefferson Soteldo, the Spanish media outlet Don Balon has reported.
Diminutive 20-year-old Venezuelan is currently playing for Chilean side Huachipato, but it was at Zamora FC where he made a name for himself with 21 goals in 84 appearances. Able to operate as a winger on either flank, Soteldo is a huge attack threat in the final third and would provide Spurs with plenty of options upfront.
European champions Real Madrid are believed to be keeping tabs on the youngster as well, while Watford have also registered interest in this technically gifted player.
Mauricio Pochettino is prepared to try and beat the competition to the signature of this highly-rated youngster and is reportedly prepared to table an €18 million to acquire his services this summer.
Having arrived at Huachipato in January 2017, Soteldo is thought to be keen to remain in Chile for at least another six months before making a move to Europe.
