Tottenham lead race for Olmo

According to a recent report from AS, Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur are currently leading the charge ahead of Spanish giants Atletico Madrid in the race to try and sign Dani Olmo. The 21 year old played a key role in Spain’s win at the European U21 Championships this past summer, and as a result, has been heavily linked with a number of top clubs around the continent. He currently plays his football with Dinamo Zagreb, but given the level of the sides that are coming after him, that may not be the case for much longer.

In addition to Spurs and Atletico he is also being chased by Bayer Leverkusen and Barcelona, but it doesn’t appear as if their interest is quite as extreme as Tottenham’s.

One way or another his future seems to be away from Croatia and in a more prominent league around Europe, which seems like the natural next step for the youngster.
