Tottenham Hotspur are readying a move for Bournemouth midfielder Lewis Cook, according to the Star.
The North London outfit are yet to bring in any new players, with the transfer window set to close next Thursday.
However, Mauricio Pochettino could be set to move for the twenty-one-year-old after becoming impressed with his performances last term.
Last summer the former Leeds United man captained England in their U20’s World Cup triumph while twelve months later he found himself on the standby list for Gareth Southgate’s squad that travelled to Russia.
Cook has played forty-seven times in all competitions for the Cherries since securing his move from Elland Road in the summer of 2016 while he racked up eight-five appearances in two campaigns in Leeds’s first team squad.
Spurs finished in third place last term and can be backed at 4/5 to finish next season in the Champions League qualification places.
