West Ham has rejected a £6million bid from Spurs for Welsh striker Craig Bellamy.
Bellamy, who joined the Hammers from Liverpool for £7.5million in July 2007, has been linked with a move to link up with Harry Redknapp at Spurs.
“I’ve got one or two players but I can’t say we are near to getting anybody,” declared the White Hart Lane boss.
“I’ve discussed it with the chairman but one or two players that we mentioned, people were talking crazy prices for.
“If we can’t get the players I think will improve the squad, then I won’t bring in anybody.
“I’m not going to load us up with players that aren’t better than we’ve got.”
