Tottenham need to pay €50m for Belotti

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Tottenham Hotspur have been informed that they must pay at least €50 million to sign Andrea Belotti.

Their initial loan offer has failed to really attract the interest of the Italian club, but the belief is that they could wind up returning with an improved bid. Spurs have made their intentions in the summer transfer window crystal clear and while they may be focusing a lot of their attention on bringing Gareth Bale back to North London, Jose Mourinho clearly isn’t willing to put all of his eggs in one basket.

Belotti is an incredibly capable forward and if given the opportunity, he could do some real damage in the Premier League.

Tottenham clearly still have an awful lot of work to do between now and the end of the summer transfer window, and Belotti would serve as one hell of an acquisition.
