Tottenham no longer want Andre Gomes

According to a recent report from Sky Sports News, Tottenham Hotspur have brought their interest in Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes to an end. Gomes spent last season on loan at Goodison Park with Everton, and during that time, he was able to impress a series of top European clubs. Many have wondered and questioned whether or not the Toffees themselves would be able to secure his services on a permanent basis, but up to this point, it has yet to be confirmed one way or another. Barca don’t seem to have the room to slot him into their plans on a permanent basis, which is why they seem to be contemplating selling him. With that being said they have already rejected one or two bids for him, meaning that it’s likely going to take a sizeable offer in order to lure him away from the Nou Camp.

When will it happen, if it even does? Only time will tell.
