Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is showing interest in Lyon goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, Metro understands.
With first choice keeper Brad Friedel set to turn 41 in May, Spurs are desperately looking for his replacement.
Carlo Cudicini and Heurelho Gomes are also well past their prime and Harry Redknapp is keen on signing a new shot-stopper.
According to Metro, the experienced manager has set his sights on Lyon goalie Hugo Lloris and is expected to make an official bid for the player’s services in the summer.
The 25-year-old is regarded as one of the most talented keepers in world football and he is currently playing his fourth season at Gerland.
It remains to be seen whether he is ready to consider leaving the club, although Lyon’s failure to ensure Champions League football could push the highly rated keeper towards the exit door.
Lloris has featured in 29 Ligue 1 games for Lyon this season as well as 10 Champions League fixtures, while he also started every one of the ten games France played in Euro 2012 qualifying campaign.
