Tottenham readying bid for Nikolay Mihaylov

Tottenham are weighing up move for Twente keeper Nikolay Mihaylov, Voetbal International reports.

Harry Redknapp is currently satisfied with his options in goal, but with both Brad Friedel and Carlo Cudicini entering the final stage of their careers, the Spurs boss is eager to sign a younger keeper.

Brazilian Heurelho Gomes is set to leave the club in January in search of first team football and Redknapp is looking to add another shot-stopper to the squad.

According to Voetbal International, Tottenham are showing interest in Twente keeper Nikolay Mihaylov.

Spurs have been tracking the 23-year-old for a while now and they are reportedly preparing a €6 million bid for his services.

The Bulgarian had a short spell at Liverpool before joining Twente, but it was in Enschede that he realized his full potential.
