According to reports in England, Tottenham Hotspur sent scouts to watch Hirving Lozano last night for PSV Eindhoven. Spurs are believed to be entering the race for the Mexican’s signature, and interestingly enough, the main team they’ll be competing against is the one they faced in the Champions League: Barcelona.
The 23 year old, who joined PSV from Pachuca last year, was heavily linked with a switch to the Nou Camp during the summer transfer window but it never materialised. Now, it seems as if he’s one of the many star names that is being linked with Tottenham ahead of the January transfer window.
It’s no secret that Spurs struggled to lure any players to the club during the summer, and because of that, it feels like Pochettino is a little bit desperate to get some deals in the pipeline ahead of what is sure to be a stressful winter period.
