Tottenham set to sign Sandro

(GSM) – Tottenham will finally complete the deal to take Brazil midfielder Sandro according to the player’s club, Internacional. The Brazilian was tipped to sign for the top-four hopefuls last summer and then last January but the move collapsed on both occasions.

And now, Harry Redknapp, who has held a long-term interest in the 21-year-old, is back in the hunt for the player.

President Vitorio Piffero confirmed earlier in the week that a deal was close and it has been suggested that an accord has been reached and all parties will be looking to finalize the deal.

Piffero said, “I think that the transfer of Sandro to Tottenham will be arranged immediately because we are very near to the end of the agreement.

“I think we will put pen to paper before next weekend.

“Personally, I think that nothing can change this because there has been a total agreement between all the parties involved in the negotiation.”
