Tottenham step up interest in Jann-Fiete Arp

Sport Bild understands that Tottenham Hotspur are stepping up their efforts to sign Hamburger SV wonderkid Jann-Fiete Arp.

Sitting seven points behind safety with nine games to go, the Red Shorts look set for their first ever relegation from Bundesliga and that means that a number of star players will be allowed to leave.

Talented forward Jann-Fiete Arp is expected to be in that group and his suitors Tottenham Hotspur are ready to make their move.

Spurs believe that the 18-year-old can develop into a world-class attacker and the interesting thing is that Tottenham is the player’s favourite club.

With just over a year left on his contract, chances are that Hamburger will have no choice but to sell at the end of the season.

Arp has already shown a great deal of potential, scoring 2 goals in 15 Bundesliga appearances.
