Tottenham still hopeful over Skriniar

According to a recent report from Tuttosport, Tottenham Hotspur have been given hope that they could sign Milan Skriniar during the January transfer window.

Inter Milan have reportedly identified Armando Izzo as a replacement if they do lose Skriniar, seemingly leading Spurs to believe that they could jump to the front of the queue and renew their pursuit of the defender.

Tottenham have made a handful of impressive additions to their squad already during the summer transfer window but Jose Mourinho clearly isn’t fully satisfied. He wants to try and rock the boat even more and he looks upon Skriniar as one of his primary targets.

Spurs may not be the ones challenging for the Premier League title between now and the end of the season but in the next few years, Mourinho wants to get the club to a point where they’re challenging for trophies in a big way once again.
