According to a recent report from ESPN, Tottenham may still reignite their interest in signing Antonio Rudiger if he doesn’t sign a new Chelsea deal.
Rudiger’s deal is set to run out next summer and while he wants £200,000-per-week to stay at Stamford Bridge, the club seem to have different ideas with regards to how much they believe he’s worth.
Rudiger has definitely been one of the shining lights for the club so far this season but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s going to stay. The Blues are one of the best teams in world football right now and if they believe they can get a decent wedge for him, as opposed to giving him too much of a wage boost, they’ll do it.
Tottenham need to start thinking about what’s going to happen during next summer’s transfer window but in equal measure, they can’t really afford not to worry about what’s happening on the pitch right now.
