Tottenham target hints at big club move

Nigerian striker Peter Odemwingie has informed his fans of the progress of his West Brom contract talks.

The 30-year-old was linked with a move to Tottenham earlier this summer after his contract talks with West Brom chiefs appear to have stalled.

The striker has now revealed that he is close to signing a new deal with the Baggies, while failing to rule out a big club move.

“To my dear WBA supporters. I love this club and will leave only to a TOP team which is understandable. Nothing abnormal is going on,” Odemwingie said via his Twitter account.

“Contract is not signed because of the duration of it. Figures agreed long time ago because I know this is not Real Madrid. Please be patient.”
