Tottenham target hints at summer move

Sao Paulo forward Dagoberto has revealed his desire to leave the club when his contract expires in April.

The 28-year-old, who has been linked with Santos and Tottenham, confirms that he will be available on free transfer next April.

“I am going to leave. I have always been honest with you, and this is they way to do it,” Dagoberto told Score magazine.

He admits to being disappointed with the treatment he received at Sao Paulo.

“I fulfilled my contract in the best possible way, but I was not valued. I tried several times to sit and talk with the board, but it did not happen.”

In spite of recent reports suggesting he is very close to making a switch to Santos, Dagoberto says he has yet to make a decision regarding his future.

“Within a few days, we will see what is best for everyone.”
