Barcelona defender Marc Bartra is set to sign a new deal at Camp Nou, Marca has revealed.
The player, whose previous contract was set to expire at the end of the season, will be handed a new deal until June 2015.
The player’s release clause has been increased to €30 million, so as to ward off any potential interest from abroad.
Premier League side Tottenham have been showing interest in the promising defender, who is currently playing for Barcelona B.
The 20-year-old has so far made three La Liga appearances for the senior side, while he is a regular member of Spain youth sides.
