Tottenham to go after Ramos?

According to a recent report from ESPN, Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring the situation surrounding Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos.

The veteran defender has been heavily linked with a move away from the Spanish giants in recent months, but in truth, many pundits can’t picture a scenario in which he actually leaves the Bernabeu.

The idea of Ramos making the switch over to the Premier League has been thrown around on more than one occasion, but for whatever reason, it’s never actually come to fruition. Now that he’s moving into the latter stages of his professional career, perhaps he’d like to end his spell in the sport in what many consider to be the best league in world football.

Working with Jose Mourinho could be the make or break point in the negotiations but with Gareth Bale already switching back over to North London, it’s clear to see that the appeal is still there.
