After more than £40 million of investments this summer, Tottenham coach Juande Ramos is still unhappy with the way his squad looks and plans to bring in another defender.
According to The Times, that defender is Manchester City’s Vedran Corluka. The Croatian right-back is reportedly on the verge of completing his move to Tottenham for around £7 million.
According to the same report, Ramos is desperate to bring in another defender to cover for Ledley King’s ridiculously bad fitness record and Michael Dawson’s questionable form. Corluka could also play as a centre-back.
Corluka moved to Manchester City last year during Sven Goran Errikson’s erratic spending spree but has proved to be one of the better right-backs in the league.
