Tottenham want Balde

According to reports in Italy, Tottenham Hotspur are still interested in signing Keita Balde. The 23 year old forward, who featured for Senegal at the 2018 FIFA World Cup this summer, has been turning heads ever since he burst on the scene during his four year stint with Lazio. After a switch to Monaco, where he certainly showed some promising signs, he made the jump back over to Italy for a loan spell with Inter Milan which is where he’s currently residing.

For some reason it feels like he’s lost a bit of steam over the last twelve months, despite the fact that he’s still probably one of the most natural finishers in world football today. It appears as if Spurs have recognised that, and it’d hardly be surprising to see them take a gamble on him in January given that they desperately need some more bodies in order to improve their depth chart.
