According to a recent report from Sky Sports News, Tottenham Hotspur are contemplating entering into the market in an attempt to sign a brand new midfielder on loan as a result of the injuries which they’ve had piling up as of late.
Moussa Sissoko will be out for up to three months with a knee issue, Tanguy Ndombele’s fitness remains a mystery, and Eric Dier has also spent time on the shelf.
Victor Wanyama doesn’t seem to be someone that Jose Mourinho is all too invested in, either, with Harry Winks therefore being the only remaining central midfielder than can be relied upon.
Mourinho may be viewed as a defensive manager by many, but even the man himself knows that this Spurs team needs a stronger presence through the middle to really help the core of the side.
It could take all window, but Tottenham will probably have a surprise or two up their sleeve in this department.
