AS Roma captain Francesco Totti is likely to be fit in time for the start of next season’s Serie A. Totti is currently recovering from a knee injury.
The 31 year old attacking midfielder tore his knee ligaments during an April 19 clash with Livorno and was forced to miss the rest of the Italian season, including the Coppa Italia final.
Sportspaper Corriere dello Sport reports that Totti will begin exercising on July 5th, to really resume training fifteen days later.
Roma begin their season on August 24th, when they meet with league champions Internazionale for the Supercoppa.
