French midfielder Jeremy Toulalan has requested a transfer away from Malaga amidst club’s financial problems.
The La Liga outfit are struggling to address the ongoing debts towards players and other clubs, and los Boquerones could soon be a subject of takeover.
With the huge uncertainty surrounding the club, several high-profile players have already expressed their desire to leave La Rosaleda, and Jeremy Toulalan was the latest player to do so.
AS reports that the French international has visited the club’s offices together with his representative and informed the club chiefs that he wants out.
The Frenchman already has several lucrative offers and there is every chance he will leave the club this summer.
Meanwhile, Santi Cazorla, Salomon Rondon and Isco are also hoping to leave, and the trio has no shortage of offers at the moment.
Despite achieving a fourth-place finish in La Liga that saw them qualify for the Champions League, Malaga have suffered a major downtrend in fortunes this summer, and it appears they will be forced into selling several high-profile players.
