Toulouse coach Alain Casanova praised his well-drilled side for beating both Boulogne-sur-Mer and the elements to reach the French Cup quarter-finals.
“We relied on our very solid, and well-organised bloc,” said the Toulouse coach, who rested a number of first-team regulars, including top scorer André-Pierre Gignac. “On the whole, we deserved to go through, even if there were two or three hairy moments. We have a very good defence and a great goalkeeper.
“For us, there’s no question of taking the cup lightly. We’re in the quarter-finals, and now we’re calmly awaiting the draw.”
