Bundesliga hotshots RB Leipzig have already started making plans for the next season which will see the Bundesliga newcomers grace the Champions League stage after a sensational debut season in German top flight.
As Red Bulls head towards the finish line, club’s management is already looking for potential additions to the squad. A familiar name finds its place high on the wish list as RB Leipzig approach French Ligue 1 side for their long-term target issa Diop.
Leizpig attempted to sign the 20-year-old defender last year, but the German sensation package are coming back with an improved offer and even more determination. RB Leipzig have made an approach worth €12 million for Diop according to reports from Le 10 Sport, but Toulouse were having none of it.
The U-20 French international is seen as an important part of the team at Toulouse and the Ligue 1 club has made Dip top of their priority in terms of keeping players at the club.
It will be a challenging task given the fact RB Leipzig are bound to come back with an improved offer and a place in a Champions League team.
