L’Equipe has learned that Trabzonspor are weighing up a move for Monaco striker Ibrahima Toure.
The Turkish giants are prepared to splash the cash this summer in an attempt to keep up with Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, and they have already signed the likes of Florent Malouda and Jose Bosingwa.
The summer recruitment now looks set to continue as the Black Sea Storm are lining up a bid for Monaco star Ibrahima Toure.
The 27-year-old will be allowed to leave the club despite ending last season as club’s top scorer with 18 goals.
Toure, who has no less than three years left on his deal at Stade Louis II, should be available for around €5 million, which is well within Trabzonspor’s price range.
Monaco have already rejected one offer for the player’s services, as Al-Nasr’s proposal was deemed insufficient.
Prior to joining the French giants, Toure played for Chengdu Wuniu, Wydad Casablanca, Paykan, Persepolis, Sepahan and Ajman.
