Manchester United’s Ander Herrera has revealed that his future with the club is far from settled, and he described reports linking him with a moves to other clubs as “logical”, according to Sky Sports.
The contract binding the Spaniard to Old Trafford expires at the end of the season, meaning he would be able to leave as a free player should the negotiations over a new deal fail to reach a positive conclusion in time. He is adamant, however, that the situation will not draw his focus away from the team as they strive to secure one of the top four places in the Premier League table which lead directly into the Champions League.
Herrera apparently spoke to Spanish outlet El Periodico, and expressed his stance that reports linking him with other clubs appearing is logical, simply due to the fact that he’s nearing the end of his contract, but he leaves such matters in the hands of his agent.
