Traore having Aston Villa medical

According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Bertrand Traore is having his Aston Villa medical ahead of his proposed move to the Premier League club.

The medical is taking place in Copenhagen ahead of his hearing for a required work permit, which is set to take place tomorrow.

The deal will see Traore sign from Lyon on a four-year contract after agreeing to a deal worth £17 million, with a potential £2 million in add-ons.

Traore is aware of Aston Villa coach John Terry from his time with Chelsea, but before Villa fans can get too excited, he first needs to get over the work permit hurdle.
