French full-back Benoit Tremoulinas is set to complete a move to Sevilla, Spanish daily Marca has revealed.
Los Rojiblancos have elected the experienced defender as the man to replace Alberto Moreno and they have reportedly agreed a €2.5 million deal for his services.
Tremoulinas in turn arrived in Seville to undergo medical tests and bar any surprises he will sign a long-term contract with the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan outfit.
The 28-year-old spent his early career in Bordeaux, where he established himself as one of France’s top left-backs before moving to Dynamo Kiev last summer.
Having failed to nail down a regular starting berth in Ukraine, Tremoulinas joined Saint Etienne on a six-month loan, making 12 league appearances for les Verts.
He has now been given an opportunity to kick-start his career at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, where Sevilla host Valencia this evening and are 21/20 to claim maximum points against los Che.
