(GSM) – David Treguet wants to stay at Juventus despite rumours linking him with a move to Valencia and Napoli.

The French striker has been linked with a move away from Turin for months now with his contract expiring in June 2011. However, the 32-year-old forward has made such a good impression on new coach Luigi Del Neri in pre-season training that members of the coaching staff want to keep him.

Earlier this year, Trezeguet stated he wanted to spend more time with his relatives who live in France and that a transfer would be the best option, but now he seemed to have changed his mind.

After training yesterday, Trezeguet was asked a question about his future, to which he replied: “I don’t want to leave at all.”

The former Monaco hitman has been linked with Valencia and Napoli in recent weeks, but both clubs are exploring alternatives.
