Trinidad and Tobago beat the United States

With little in the match for the United States, a Dwight Yorke penalty kick in the seventy ninth minute lifted Trinidad and Tobago to a 2-1 in a Concacaf 2010 FIFA World Cup semifinal qualifying match.

Russell Latapy opened the scoring on the hour mark for Trinidad and Tobago who moved into second place in the Group 1 standings.

In the seventy fifth minute Charlie Davies scored for the United States, who had already qualified for the final round after they beaten Cuba 6-1 on Saturday.

With advancement assured, United States coach Bob Bradley fielded a youthful lineup against Trinidad and Tobago.
