According to a report from L’Equipe, Thomas Tuchel’s current relationship with Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Antero Henrique is now at breaking point. This is as a result of their perceived failures in the January transfer window, with Tuchel clearly being unhappy at their inability to bring in more new faces. Tuchel specifically wanted a new defensive midfielder to be brought into the fold, as PSG gear up for what will be a tough two games against Manchester United in the Champions League.
The report also suggests that some higher ups in the club are interested in the thought of replacing Henrique, with Arsene Wenger being linked with the role. The Frenchman has yet to get back into the world of football following his departure from Arsenal last year, but after stating that he’d make a decision about his future in 2019, it would seem as if this is the perfect role for him.
