Despite announcing his departure from Bayern Munich at the end of the season as imminent in February, Thomas Tuchel has opened the door to the possibility of remaining in his job with the Bavarian club, according to Florian Plettenberg. Meanwhile, The Times report that Manchester United are considering the possibility of hiring the former Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund boss, if they were to part ways with Erik ten Hag.
Apparently, Tuchel’s situation at Bayern is “complicated”. He is ready to stay and continue his work at the Allianz Arena, but only under certain circumstances. And this option, Plettenberg says, is not off the table for the Bayern board either. Several first-team players, including goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, have spoken in favour of the club keeping their current head coach.
