According to a recent report from L’Equipe, French champions Paris Saint-Germain are set to offer a new deal to manager Thomas Tuchel. The 45 year old has been with the club since last year, and looks set to walk to the Ligue 1 title in his first season in charge. However, they also crashed out of the Champions League against Manchester United, surrendering a 3-1 advantage from the first leg. Despite this setback it seems like the board believes Tuchel is the right man for the job, and the majority of fans seem to agree.
President Nasser Al-Khelaifi is eager to see Tuchel commit his immediate future to the club with a one year extension. It has yet to be seen whether or not the German boss will actually go ahead with signing.
Tuchel made the jump over to PSG after spending two years with Borussia Dortmund, with his origins in management coming in his homeland of Germany.
