According to a recent report from Daily Mirror, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has said it’s too soon for a decision to be made over Olivier Giroud’s future.
There are just a few months remaining on the veteran’s current deal with the Blues, and while he has had a few moments of joy with the club this season, many still believe he’s destined to leave Stamford Bridge once the summer transfer window rolls around.
The 34-year-old quite clearly still has a lot left in the tank as a high level striker in world football, but Tuchel hasn’t quite made up his mind yet about whether or not he’s the right man to lead Chelsea forward into the future.
If he isn’t, you can bet there’s going to be quite an intense bidding war once the summer rolls around – and it won’t just be clubs in the Premier League who are interested.
