Tuchel wants to stay at PSG

This was not a great season for Paris Saint-Germain. The French champions first got knocked out of the Coupe de Ligue in January, before blowing away a 2-0 lead against Manchester United, losing 3-1 at home in the last minute of the match. It was a big disappointment to go out of Champions League in round of 16 and now after a loss to Rennes in Coupe de France on penalties, only one trophy was won.

Asked after the match, Thomas Tuchel said he wants to stay at PSG, although he feels it is a tough moment for the club.

“Of course I want to continue! It’s too early to take stock. I have to think for a few days. This is not an easy situation.

“It’s difficult to explain, also for me, because we made a good start to the game, very strong, very structured, with many qualities and many opportunities,” Tuchel said.
