With the Bundesliga’s Christmas break fast approaching, teams from across Germany’s top-tier will be looking to pick up as many points as possible. On that note, we here at Soccer News have found a handful of helpful tips that can boost your Tuesday acca:

Tuesday 18th December

BST 19:30 Wolfsburg vs Stuttgart

While Wolfsburg may have spent a large spell of last season battling it out at the foot of the table, it has been a far brighter start for Bruno Labbadia’s side. Coming off the back of a 2-0 win away at Nurnberg last week, Die Wölfe are now unbeaten in their last four Bundesliga outings, that run has also seen them take points off of fellow European hopefuls Hoffenheim and Eintracht Frankfurt. Now scoring six goals in their last three outings, one man to watch for the hosts will be leading goalscorer Daniel Ginczek. The 27-year-old has now scored in his last three consecutive appearances and should be feeling confident of extending that tally on Tuesday. A season that has been riddled with inconstancies, Stuttgart currently find Markus Weinzierl’s side at the heart of a relegation battle. While they did managed to claw a 2-1 win against Hertha Berlin last week, their form on the road has been a huge concern. The Yellows have now managed to win just one of their last eight matches away from the Mercedes-Benz-Arena and have conceded 12 goals in their last five matches away from home.

Tip: Home win and over 2.5 goals @ 13/8

19:30 Fortuna Dusseldorf vs Borussia Dortmund

Capitalising on Bayern Munich’s very public struggles at the start of the season, few would have expected Borussia Dortmund’s rise to the top of the Bundesliga table. Along with booking their spot in the knockout stage of this year’s Champions League, the Yellow and Blacks are the only side in Germany’s top-tier yet to be beaten so far this year. One man who has epitomised Dortmund’s resurge has been former Barcelona striker Paco Alcacer. Making his move to the Westfalenstadion permanent, the 25-year-old has scored 11 goals in his 10 Bundesliga appearances and has also now found the net five times in his last eight matches, including the winner in last week’s 2-1 win over Werder Bremen. As for Tuesday’s hosts, while Fortuna Dusseldorf picked up a 2-0 win over Freiburg in their last outing, last year’s Bundesliga 2 winners are tipped to be a leading contender in the relegation race. Picking up just two league victories this season, it will be their defensive issues giving Friedhelm Funkel the biggest headache. Dusseldorf have now managed to record just one clean sheet in their last 14 matches across all competitions.

Tip: Paco Alcacer to score anytime @ 11/10

19:30 Hertha Berlin vs Augsburg

Starting with Tuesday’s hosts, while Hertha Berlin might be coming off the back of a shock 2-1 loss to Stuttgart last week, it has still been a very bright start for Die Alte Dame. Unbeaten in their other four previous Bundesliga matchups, Pal Dardai’s side now find themselves just one point adrift of climbing into the European positions. If there is one major factor behind their rise up the table it will be Hertha’s recent form at the Olympiastadion Berlin. Aside from a defeat at home to Champions League contenders RB Leipzig six weeks ago, Dardai’s side are unbeaten in all their other matches on home soil. The Blue and Whites should see Tuesday as the perfect opportunity to bounce back from last week’s defeat. Augsburg are now without a Bundesliga win in their last six outings, losing five of those. Now at the heart of a relegation battle, no side outside outside of the bottom three holds a worse defensive record than Manuel Baum’s men. Hertha should also be boosted by their very impressive record against this week’s visitors. Berlin have not tasted defeat against Augsburg since September 2014, a seven-match run.

Tip: Home win @ 5/4
