Tunisia are closer to a spot at next year’s World Cup finals in South Africa, as Mozambique were beaten 2-0 in Wednesday’s Group 2 qualifier.
The Tunisians had already beaten Kenya in their Round 3 opening game and again proved to be the better side in their second match.
Alaeddine made it 1-0 in the 21nd minute and Oussama Darragi ended all doubts near full time, 2-0.
Nigeria have a chance of reducing the gap with Tunisia to just two points, when they host Kenya on Sunday.
