Fenerbahce avoided dropping points for the third time in a row, beating Eskisehirspor 4-2 in Istanbul.

Brazilian Alex put ‘Fener’ in the lead after just three minutes but had his goal canceled out by Sezer Öztürk ten minutes later.

Semih Sentürk then restored the home side’s lead after another five minutes, and Gökhan Gönül made it 3-1 just before the interval.

Both teams had a player sent off in the first minute after the break with Eskisehirspor’s Öztürk and Fenerbahce’s Diego Lugano heading for an early shower.

Serdar Ozbayraktar gave Eskisehirspor new hope by scoring for 3-2 in the 65th minute, but Sentürk netted his second in the 72nd minute to secure the home team’s victory.
