Out of contract and without a club since the beginning of the season, French international right-back Bacary Sagna is attracting plenty of interest from several Turkish sides.
The experienced 34-year-old defender left Manchester City when his contract expired in June and has been without a club ever since.
Sagna is said to have rejected several proposals coming from Turkish sides but there seems to be renewed interest from clubs in that country with Sivasspor, Bursaspor and champions Besiktas all keen on acquiring his services, according to L’Equipe.
The three Turkish sides are said to have approached Sagna during last week with proposals for a short-term deal until the end of the current campaign.
The reports claim an unnamed Premier League club are also interested in signing on Bacary Sagna’s this winter so it remains to be seen which club will former Arsenal star choose when the transfer window reopens.
Sagna’s last competitive performance came in October, when he appeared in France’s 4-1 win over Bulgaria.
