Turkish newspaper Fanatik has suggested that Galatasaray striker Burak Yilmaz is hoping to join Manchester United in the near future.
Yilmaz, 27, is widely regarded as one of the most prolific strikers in Europe despite spending his entire career in Turkey, and it seems that he now wants to prove his worth in a top European league.
According to Fanatik, the experienced forward is keen on a switch to Old Trafford and has instructed his agent to inform the English giants of his client’s desire.
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has been watching Yilmaz’s teammates Fernando Muslera and Semih Kaya, and the Scot is certainly well aware of the striker’s qualities.
Liverpool and Juventus have also been showing interest in the player who just cannot seem to stop scoring at the moment.
While scoring 12 goals in 18 Super Lig appearances, Yilmaz has netted 7 times in as many Champions League matches.
